Victoria Glen Park is a 7-acre forest between Snyder Avenue North and Dunke Street in Elmira, Ontario, beside the lane that leads down to the Kissing Bridge Trail. The Township of Woolwich proposed to "surplus" 2.6 acres of this bush for a residential development. Hundreds of area residents joined forces to convince Council that good stewardship of this natural space, used by hundreds in our community, could best be accomplished by preserving it as parkland.
